Rowan has been working with Global Grooves since 2016. After completing her studies in Textiles at Manchester School of Art, she became a young apprentice on Global Grooves’ Future Leaders course as a visual artist. Since completing this course, she has gone on to work closer with Global Grooves being one of the lead artists on Creating Carnival 2016 and an assisting artist for the Mossley Light Festival.
Rowan is an emerging freelance artist who enjoys to work within Carnival and community arts in the North West of England.
She has also worked alongside The Proud Trust, Manchester’s LGBT youth group on a float for Pride 2016 and has ran community lantern workshops for the Mossley Light Festival.
