The Global Grooves team have just returned from a hectic weekend at Car Fest North where we brought a team of artists to create the first ever CAR-nival! Together with a team of volunteers and festival goers we made a giant octopus, an incredible F1 car, 300 flags, over 100 hats, a few mini cars, took our new pet Tyrone out for his first public walk we AND delivered a series of visual, dance and drumming workshops!
On the Sunday, we brought everything we’d made together and teamed up with Cabasa Carnival Arts to join the CAR-nival parade down the track! We even met with Car Fest King, Chris Evans half way down the track.. and again on the main stage!
Thanks to the incredible Global Grooves team for all their hard work and energy, our wonderful volunteers and the CarFest team. See you in the South!
