Named after the famous movie stars, Padmini and Sivaji can venture out in isolation or as a duo and, despite their size, each puppet only requires one puppeteer – though they can also be accompanied by musicians and dancers to add a little more glitz and glamour to proceedings.
Our beautiful character-puppets are made by our in-house artists, often guided and assisted by master makers from outside of Global Grooves. Influenced by global traditions, our resident character-puppets can be found at all kinds of events: performances and parades, festivals, community events – and even weddings and private parties!
