Percussion - 2021/22 cohort

Hi my name is Abz, I’m thirteen and live in Oldham greater Manchester.

I mainly play percussion but I play a few other things too. I’m part of an orchestra, NOFA (national orchestras for all) where I play drumkit. I’m also a part of a Brazilian youth-based band called Jubacana, where I play a variety of different percussion and sometimes guitar. Since I joined Jubacana in 2017 I have been told about Future Leaders and I am so excited to finally be involved. Drumming for me is an escape from reality, I can’t explain how it makes me feel all I know is I love to drum.
