To celebrate 25 years of Emmaus Mossley we are creating an extra special Carnival Band to bring our community together in a vibrant, fun and exciting celebration this September. To say thanks for all their incredible work in our community Global Grooves will be giving the gift of Carnival to Emmaus as part of their big birthday bash.

We’re recruiting a community cast of 75 performers that will have the chance to work together with our expert carnival artists to develop a new piece of music and dance that’s gonna nock their socks off. There’s a place for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned performer or completely new to making music and dancing.

25 drummers, 25 dancers and 25 brass and reed players will work together with Global Grooves at our Carnival Arts Centre The Vale. We will then share our new Carnival magic with the people of Mossley and beyond as part of Emmaus’ 25th Birthday celebration. No previous experience is necessary to take part but we also welcome seasoned performers.
