Creating Carnival 2018 is here!
We are excited to announce this year’s Creating Carnival programme, jam packed full of brand new opportunities to join Global Grooves on the streets this summer.
We have been humbled by the level of support and encouragement from our GG community following our sad news of the fire in March, and are all set to celebrate the strength of our incredible network with a sizzling summer of Carnival creations never before seen! For every donation, friendly chat, charity funding event, offer of volunteering hours, letter of support, and more offered in memory of our puppet friends, we would like to thank Arts Council England, our crowd funder supporters, volunteers, global artist network, local councillors and MPs, partner organisations, community bands, friends, and families for your incredible support. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we look forward to thrilling and exciting your Carnival senses with what we have in store next!
Let’s celebrate this summer by joining together to share the heart and soul of Global Grooves with audiences all over the UK. This year’s Carnival programme will present GG with one of its biggest challenges yet boldest victories. We look forward to showing off new work at a host of incredible festivals and community gatherings. This year we will be calling on our Carnival community to join our events team to perform, make, produce and facilitate this summer’s hottest new street art…
