We're recruiting an Arts Administrator to join our team. We are looking for an organised, motivated and confident individual to support and help develop the administrative and sales hub that underpins this activity. You will play a key role in coordinating the steady flow of venue enquiries, bookings, project information and event logistics that help both Global Grooves and The Vale run smoothly.

Mossley Market Ground will be transformed into an open-air gallery of colour, creativity, and community spirit as 100 hand-painted silk flags take flight during the monthly farmers market.

A MOSSLEY arts organisation will bring the spirit of Carnival to one of the north’s best-loved music festivals next month.

International Carnival specialist Global Grooves has been tasked with producing the grand finale at Kendal Calling: a super-sized, celebratory parade, featuring over 220 community performers of all ages.

Global Grooves is commissioning an artist or collective to create a piece of site-specific artwork to be exhibited in response to our micro hydro project. This is a paid opportunity with a total fee of up to £6,000 available.

We are offering an opportunity to create new  biodegradable art works for a community event on the 6th April at The Vale and Mossley Heritage Centre. This is a paid opportunity with a commission fee of £5,000 available. 

The event is a celebration day to promote walking to The Vale through our new 'Trails to The Vale' initiative.

We are delighted to be able to share that we have been awarded a Sustainability Fund grant from Saddleworth Community Hydro. This funding is a big step towards our target of Net Zero by 2030 in line with Greater Manchester. In addition it will increase our engagement of local communities and young people in sustainability and the environment.

Global Grooves is amongst a handful of arts and cultural organisations that have been singled out as nationally important for the work they do. In the case of Mossley's Global Grooves, this means creating uplifting, hands-on Carnival experiences for hundreds of people of all ages every year. Next year, it will celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Homelessness charity Emmaus Mossley is planning a carnival as part of their 25th anniversary celebrations and is appealing for performers to get involved.
