Stalybridge carnival has been a key part of local heritage for 42 years. Putting on a carnival takes a lot of love, energy and passion which comes across so well in this informal sharing with Ian Chochrane and Joyce Hobson from the festival committee.
As we move out of the pandemic planning is on course for an event in Cheetham park, September 2021. Roll on 2022 when the full carnival will return.
