On Tuesday 20th August, Global Grooves and Cabasa Carnival Arts will be bringing a Carnival spectacular to some very poorly Children at The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. All ages and experience levels are welcome.
You’re invited to join us and help bring Carnival magic to the staff and patients of the hospital.
In the morning, we’ll deliver a short roof-top percussion and dance workshop and giant puppet session, teaching basic rhythms, moves and techniques to whoever would like to participate. You’ll then be provided with a costume and/or instrument for a parade in and around the hospital grounds.
This event is all about bringing some Carnival magic to those who need it most. We’re inviting our Carnival community along to do something incredible and put a smile on a child’s face 🙂
Last years event ran from 9.30am till 1pm and we expect the event to run at approximately the same times this year.
This will be the 4th year we have participated in ‘Zest Fest’ and we want to make this year even bigger and better than ever! With your help we can!
Take the day off, do something incredible and make a child’s day.
