Ciara Bartlett, Producer and Volunteer Coordinator

Producer and Volunteer Coordinator

Ciara is a talented arts producer whose leadership is integral to the success of Global Grooves’ community-focused initiatives.

Since joining as Arts Administrator, Ciara has advanced to Producer, where she manages cultural projects that empower underserved communities and celebrate diversity through the arts. As Volunteer Coordinator, she takes particular pride in creating meaningful opportunities for individuals to contribute to Global Grooves’ creative vision, fostering a strong sense of belonging and collaboration.

A graduate of Leeds Beckett University with a degree in Fine Art, Ciara’s creative practice blends digital media with community engagement. Her Erasmus placement in Thessaloniki culminated in her solo exhibition, Your Place Within the City, which explored themes of social interaction and space. At university, she represented students in the Art, Architecture, and Design faculty, championing inclusive creative dialogue.

Ciara’s experience includes delivering high-profile projects such as the Northern Lights Parade in Tameside and Rochdale’s Feel Good Family Picnics. She also played a pivotal role in the WEA Tameside Project, where she designed and delivered creative learning courses to support economically inactive residents in building confidence, acquiring new skills, and exploring future opportunities.

In addition to her work at Global Grooves, Ciara has supported mental health and well-being initiatives through organisations like Action Together and Hope Guardians. As Volunteer Manager for Manchester Pride, she demonstrated her ability to organise inclusive and vibrant events that foster community connection.

Ciara’s leadership style is defined by her enthusiasm, warmth, and commitment to collaboration. Whether coordinating volunteers or producing large-scale cultural events, she ensures that every voice is heard and valued. Her work reflects Global Grooves’ mission to inspire, unite, and empower communities through creativity
