Meet new people and join a new network of creatives based in Oldham.

Feel excited about learning new things and exploring your creative side through different workshops including:

  • Working as a freelancer or artist
  • Music and movement
  • Designing and delivering your own events

Hear from inspirational arts leaders and chat with them about your own goals and creative ambitions.

Further your skills and knowledge, working with likeminded artists already in the industry.

Gain a deeper understanding of the arts industry behind-the-scenes through practical tasks that challenge and inspire you.

Design and deliver your own arts event and get hands-on experience as part of a new creative collective.

Look forward to future volunteering, placements, and employment opportunities with the organisations and artists involved in the course.

What’s included:

  • Free short course including inspirational guest speakers, tutors, and mentors
  • Follow up volunteering, placement, and employment opportunities
  • Travel expenses if you need to claim them back
  • Complete an optional Arts Award qualification

To get involved, you would ideally be: 

  • Based in Oldham
  • Aged 16-18
  • Looking to further your skills and knowledge of arts-based careers
  • Able to attend all or most of the sessions

Note: we may still consider applications from those who are not based in Oldham or aged 16-18.

Every Monday, 6:15pm – 8:30pm

9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th September

7th, 14th, 21st October

4th, 11th, 18th, 25th November

2nd, 9th December

Plus special events to gain hands-on events experience (to be announced soon)
