Brush up your timbau skills with this top-up timbau technique and grooves course from Global Grooves. Led by Leon Patel, participants will study basic and advanced techniques, common rhythms and grooves, solo phrasing and how to devise and build your own timbau solos. This class is open to all that have previous experience of playing hand drums. Understanding of tone, slap and bass is essential. If you have never played the timbau before, this course will also suit those who have played instruments such as conga, and djembe.
Instruments: Some instruments can be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.
