Advocacy

You might have noticed that while we want to succeed, we want others to flourish around us, too.

Advocacy

It’s all part of our advocacy approach. We know that if we engage the community in which we live, work and play, we’ll be healthier, happier and more likely to engage in the future.

And we’re not just talking about Carnival arts. We actively support other arts organisations on our doorstep or further afield to grow and evolve, too. This might be by supplying space or people to a project, introducing beneficial new contacts or brainstorming an idea to make it a fundable reality. It might be placemaking, straightforward consultancy or lending an ear every now and then.

Our advocacy is often proactive, too: we don’t necessarily wait for others to get in touch with us. If we identify a gap or a need, and we have ideas of how it could be solved, then we will try our utmost to make it happen.

Read on to learn how we have worked with others in the past. And if you need some support, don’t hesitate to contact us.
