We are now reaching out to our global community to ask for support in raising funds to help replace these items. Every penny will help and be invested directly in to the replacement of this work.

How else can you help?
Many of you have been asking how else you can support us at this time. We are still formulating a plan to get back on our feet. We are waiting for a few key decisions from our partners that will shape the next steps and plan of action. Once we know what our recovery plan is, we will be calling out for volunteers and support in creating our new set of puppets and giants to hit the streets with a bang. This will be the best, most vibrant and boldest piece we have ever produced. Keep an eye on our mailing list for updates of how you can get involved.
Until then here are some ideas that our incredible network have thought of to raise further funds:
- Give a gig or a busk – get out their with your community group and put the hat out for a great cause. A perfect excuse to bang some drums with your carnival friends.
- Offer a workshop – many of our artists and friends have offered to deliver a special workshop with their networks to raise some donations.
- Have a whip round – Social media and email doesn’t reach everyone. We have raised over £1,000 from people speaking directly to their colleagues and friends and raising donations on our behalf.
- Organise a cake sale or fundraising event – Some of our network have offered to organise on a cake sale or raffle to help raise donations.
Every little helps and we are incredibly grateful for all the support we have received. You are all amazing!
