Training and Mentorship Opportunities

Supporting Emerging Leaders in the Arts

At Global Grooves, we believe that becoming a thriving artist, arts leader, or social entrepreneur is rarely achieved in isolation. It’s a journey shaped by mentorship, collaboration, and the opportunities extended by others. Many of our leadership team and artists began their careers through such support, and we are committed to paying it forward by nurturing the next generation of creative leaders.

Each year, we offer a select number of bespoke mentorship and training opportunities to aspiring individuals aged 18–30 who are eager to make an impact in the creative sector. This unique programme provides a rare opportunity to receive tailored guidance from experienced professionals immersed in the arts and culture landscape.

This is not a formal course or direct involvement in Global Grooves’ projects (although work shadowing can be arranged if relevant). Instead, this programme is designed to help you refine your own vision and take tangible steps toward your aspirations. Whether you are looking to develop leadership skills, manage an arts initiative, or deepen your artistic practice, our team is here to support you with insights, advice, and encouragement.

Through this mentorship, you’ll receive:

  • Personalised guidance: One-on-one sessions with our team to help you navigate challenges and develop your creative and professional ideas.
  • Access to expertise: Benefit from our team’s vast experience in arts leadership and community engagement.
  • Networking opportunities: Connect with our international network of cultural leaders and creatives, opening doors to collaboration and inspiration.

Our aim is simple: to empower you to grow as a leader in your field. Whether you’re seeking clarity on your career direction, overcoming obstacles, or expanding your creative practice, we’ll tailor our support to your individual goals.

If this opportunity resonates with you, we’d love to hear about your vision and how you believe we can help you achieve it. To apply, please send a covering letter to [email protected] outlining:

  1. What you aim to achieve through mentorship.
  2. How you think our team can support your goals.
  3. The projects or areas of leadership you wish to explore.
  4. A brief summary of your current experience and ambitions.

Unfortunately, due to capacity, we can only offer a limited number of opportunities and cannot provide feedback on applications.

We look forward to hearing from driven, creative individuals ready to shape the future of the arts. If you believe this is the right opportunity for you, please get in touch.
