In these short courses all are welcome to explore the world of hand drums. Enjoy the spiritual beats of Brazilian Atabaque, West African Djembe, Cuban Conga technique and lush Bahian Timbau flavours. There’ll be a bit of everything! This course includes a performance outing with Sunto Susso on Saturday 27th May (free entry for full course participants).

Global Grooves is excited to welcome Suntou Susso, a multi-instrumentalist: Kora player, percussionist, singer and composer from The Gambia to our stage at The Vale this May.

This is ukulele, but not as you know it! Plus an assertive take on spoken word with fast firing rhythmic verse.
