The parade theme focuses upon the contrast of the beautiful and the ugly sides of nature and the urban sprawl. In opposition to the dark, beastly drummers, the dancers will harness the lightness and grace of both Afro-Brazilian and Contemporary dance adorned in flowing layered garments created especially for Junk Jam.
