Inspired by grounded tribal beats and contemporary grooves from around the world, this series of workshops equips every individual with a host of inspirational instruments to really have fun with! From paint tins to pipes, buckets to bins, this specially sourced collection of percussion frames will have you grooving in no time.
Each Junk Jam arrangement from the three tutors is written with these specialist instruments in mind, with opportunities for the 40 percussion performers to try out the variety of sounds and rhythmic challenges on offer. Within the bloco, the drummers can become masked ‘Beast Bashers’, laying some heavy duty percussion punishment into mythical chained creatures!
