Get Creative: build confidence through Carnival arts

  • Every Wednesday
  • 12 - 3pm
  • Free

Not working and ready to try something new?  This brand-new, free 12-week course is open to Tameside residents who want to enjoy being creative, build confidence, and explore new possibilities. If you’re looking to make a change but aren’t sure where to start, this course is for you.

In just three mini-modules, you’ll build practical creative skills and boost your confidence. You’ll help create a piece of public art that will go on display right here in Tameside. No experience? No problem – we’ll guide you every step of the way.

Module 1 – Masks with Mel (4 weeks)
Module 2 – Making a Carnival piece for display (3 weeks)
Module 3 – Textiles with Lizzie (4 weeks)

The first session is Wednesday 17th September, 12 – 3pm at The Vale, Micklehurst Rd, Mossley, OL5 9JL. Last session is December 10th

Can I join?
If you are 16+, living in Tameside and not in paid work, or are irregularly self-employed, yes you can! We’re particularly interested in hearing from people 50+.

How do I sign up?
