We will begin our day with a fun and highly energetic African-contemporary movement class, influenced by Somatic movement with connections to Afro-Brazilian dance forms. Enjoy the afternoon with Company Boca da Mata’s dance-music, storytelling performance, followed by a presentation of the project “Boca da Mata” with Q&A and a communal sharing to honour the day.
For anyone more focused on the environmental aspect of the artists’ work, you are welcome to join us for the 2pm-5pm session only to enjoy the presentation and Q&A part of the day.
10am: Arrivals
10:30am-1pm: Movement workshop

We would also be delighted to welcome those who would prefer to solely attend the performance, Q&A, and sharing section of the day.
