Kate has been working with Global Grooves since 2016 as a trainee producer and project manager, and as a visual artist. She graduated from Manchester School of Art in 2015 with a BA in Textiles and since then, Kate has found a love for Carnival and Community arts.

Scott Darraugh has been the Chair of Global Grooves since 2017, bringing his extensive experience in social enterprise and community leadership to support the organisation’s mission to unite and empower individuals and communities through opportunities to experience and create inspirational art.

As Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Global Grooves, Leon leads a passionate team focused on empowering communities, celebrating cultural diversity, and using the arts as a driving force for social and community development.

Emily has been working with Global Grooves since 2009 as a lead artist and Carnival designer and has worked on all of our large-scale Carnival projects since then. When she is not busy making in the studio, Emily works with Global Grooves as a project manager and co-ordinates many of The Vale events.

Charlie Morrison is a non-executive director on the Global Grooves board, bringing a wealth of expertise in arts management, strategic leadership, and organisational development.

Eraldo Marques is an arts leader, cultural innovator, and activist with over 20 years of experience in delivering arts for social change. As Executive Director and co-founder of Global Grooves, Eraldo brings his expertise in community-driven arts practice to foster cross-cultural understanding.

Joe Harrison-Greaves is a musician, facilitator, project manager and consultant whose work focuses on social change through creativity and education. As a musician, and over the last 13 years, Joe has played with bands and artists from across the world, primarily on bass guitar and acoustic guitar.

Jane is a cultural leader with deep expertise in fostering community connections and creating opportunities for shared creative expression. As Community Engagement Lead at Global Grooves, she is central to shaping initiatives that celebrate cultural diversity, encourage participation, and build bridges between communities through the arts.

Holly is an accomplished percussionist, cultural leader, and advocate for equity in the arts. As Artistic Director and co-founder of Global Grooves, Holly channels her passion for rhythm, community, and cultural exchange into creating transformative opportunities for creativity and connection.
