What a fantastic year we have had so far! We have some very exciting things coming up to finish off the year as well as some updates about our 2015 work. We would like to say a big thank you to all of our participants, funders, volunteers, staff and everyone that has made 2014 a great year…but it’s not over yet!

Arts Council England has awarded Global Grooves over £35,000 for the development of our ‘Junk Jam’ programme.

Global Grooves is delighted to announce that Cabasa Carnival Arts will become the lead creative partner of the Junk Jam project! Global Grooves and CCA will work closely together on the design and carnival development area of the project.

Manchester voluntary group Cabasa Carnival Arts has been awarded £9,975 today to organise a carnival using ‘Junk’ and recycled materials to make instruments, costumes, and props for a community celebration.
