Following the success of several Global Grooves ‘bloco’ courses, we are proud to announce our next installment in this series.

This course is a special weekend master-class exploring percussion and dance, influenced by the age old rhythms and choreographies rooted in Candomblé and the Samba Reggae groups of the Northeast of Brazil. This course brings together traditional percussive phrasing and dance movements delivered by Leon Patel and Adriana Rosso with a unique vocal choir lead by Faith Watson. The course is designed for singers, drummers and dancers of any ability and will fuse both Orixa based traditions and Samba Reggae with more modern and contemporary song styles.
